After spending his youth in Iran and New York, producer Bob Yari would go on to pursue a degree in Motion Picture Cinematography at the University of California in Santa Barbara. Yari has produced a number of highly successful films; his credits include the Academy Award-winning Crash, as well as the romantic comedy Laws of Attraction and the compassionate indie film, Thumbsucker.
