  • Wrote a play in high school based on Martin Luther King's "I Have a Dream" speech for a city-wide contest in Atlanta; earned second-place honors.

  • Played defensive back and later running back on the University of Georgia football team.
  • Prior to breaking into film and television, wrote and performed a one-man stage show, IronE...Resurrected.
