  • Completed his high school education from 7th to 10th standard at a boarding school in Deolali – a hill station in Nashik, Maharashtra – and returned to Mumbai for higher schooling.
  • Did a Diploma in Business Management after graduating in Chemistry.
  • Worked as a bank clerk for 11 years at various branches of Central Bank of India in Maharashtra.
  • Made his acting debut on television for the play Dnyan-deep –  telecast on Doordarshan, India's national channel.
