As a stage actress, Valerie Taylor appeared opposite some of Great Britain's most distinguished actors, including Laurence Olivier and Michael Redgrave, during the '20s and '30s. Taylor made her Broadway debut in 1929 in Berkeley Square. In 1933, she appeared in the film version. In addition to acting, Taylor also co-penned the script for Take My Life (1948).
