Bio

Actor Steve Clark was the gray eminence of many a "B" oater, acting in many westerns of the 1940s and 1950s, and most often playing kindly ranchers or heroine's fathers, and usually surviving only until the second reel, when the villain would put a bullet through Clark's heart and thus motivate the plot. Fans of Republic serials will recall Steve Clark as "Mr. White" in the 1949 effort Ghost of Zorro. This Steve Clark should not be confused with the "Steve Clark" credited as director of the animated TV series DuckTales
