Synopsis

When their detective friend Gabe Moreno (Gabriel Dell) is shot during a botched robbery in which another officer dies, junior newspaper employees Slip (Leo Gorcey) and Sach (Huntz Hall) infiltrate the gang that pulled off the job. Mob boss Carver (Edward Ryan) and his right-hand man, Angles Carson (Mickey Knox), make plans to rob the payroll at a steel factory, but when Carver learns that the factory and the police already know about the impending heist, he pegs the boys as informants.
