Graying veteran Thor Espedal (Espen Skjonberg) hears of the German invasion of Norway and decides to re-enlist. But, when his tiny country suddenly surrenders, Espedal refuses to align himself with his apathetic peers. The aging tough begins recruiting everyday citizens to join a resistance effort. The group assembles an impressive collection of cast-off and re-purposed weapons in the countryside, all the while preparing to face the Nazi forces on their own terms.
