Synopsis

What do you get when you combine Rod Serling (Twilight Zone) with Pat Boone (Wonderbread) and put them in a film? You get this interesting little crime drama penned by Serling and starring Boone as an egotistical, boorish pop star who alienates his wife with his obnoxious behavior. His wife, Barbara Eden, is just about to leave him when someone kidnaps their baby boy and holds him for a $200,000 ransom. Even though people are dying, he determinedly forgoes police assistance and agrees to pay the abductor. Unfortunately, the kidnapper never shows up. Fortunately, by the story's end, he finds the culprit, retrieves his son, and begins to reexamine his behavior and lifestyle.
