Synopsis

Director Marshall Neilan gave Marguerite Clark's career a needed boost with this amusing little comedy. A trio of grumpy misogynists (Richard Barthelmess, Percy Marmont and Jerome Patrick) rent a house in the country in an effort to avoid feminine contact. Into this manly idyll bursts Sylvia (Clark), who is running away from her own wedding -- she hates the groom. The trio of women haters do their best to resist the girl's charms, but naturally every last one of them falls in love with her. While not a landmark production, this was the type of light comic film that Neilan excelled at directing.
