Born in 1984 as the daughter of Kris Jenner and attorney Robert Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian emerged in the spotlight in the mid- to late 2000s, via stardom on the E! network's reality program Keeping Up With the Kardashians. The program depicted the day-to-day lives of the titular family, with the greatest attention paid to daughter Kim Kardashian and her attempts to smooth out a rocky and controversial public image. Khloe appeared as herself, the sister of Kim, proprietor of the DASH clothing company in Los Angeles, and the resident voice of responsibility in the Kardashian family.

She eventually starred in her own spin-offs, both with her sisters (Kourtney and Khloé Take Miami and The Hamptons) and own her own (Khloé & Lamar), before branching out into hosting. She was co-host of the first season of the American version of The X Factor and hosted her own show, Kocktails with Khloé.
