- Is the grandson of John Packard, an Irish American and a member of the US Army, who had settled down in Bangalore, India.
- Made his film acting debut in the Malayalam movie Aryan (1988), following which he made his Bollywood acting debut in Ilaaka (1989).
- Acted in Malayalam and Telugu films apart from mainstream Hindi films.
- Was a bodybuilding trainer of Bollywood stars Sanjay Dutt, Sunil Shetty, and Salman Khan's bodyguard Shera.
