Studied at the Redroofs Theatre School and with the National Youth Theatre.
In 2009, was cast in the lead role for the BBC drama Spirit Warriors, making her the first actress of East Asian descent to play a lead role in a British television series.
Co-wrote and produced The Heart of the Forest, which was nominated for Best Short Movie at the Copenhagen Film Festival.
