Actress Paola Turbay first gained international attention when she was crowned Miss Columbia and was runner-up for the title of Miss Universe. After appearing on several television shows in her native country, Turbay landed one of the lead roles (playing the wife of Jimmy Smits) on the CBS ensemble drama Cane, which premiered in the fall of 2007.
