- The first movie he saw in theaters was Dick Tracy (1990) when he was 4, and he ran in fear out of the theater when a character fired a tommy gun.
- Was accepted in the AFI Conservatory after submitting his short film Tale of Two Tims, which he created at College of Santa Fe.
