- Played the role of Francisco/Lucianus in English Touring Theatre's production of Hamlet in 2005.

- First National Theatre lead role was in Edward II in September 2013.
- To prepare for his role in Oppenheimer in 2015 he watched YouTube videos of J. Robert Oppenheimer to pick up his vocal energy and mannerisms.
