Mexican actor Romney Brent established his reputation in America and England, where he worked on-stage and in radio and films. Generally cast as a smooth charmer of indeterminate nationality, Brent was seen to good advantage in such films as Dinner at the Ritz (1938) and The Adventures of Don Juan (1949), appearing in the latter as King Philip of Spain. TV fans of the 1950s will remember him for his supporting work on Disney's Zorro series (1957-1959). Romney Brent was the husband of actress Gina Malo.
