- Auditioned for a film with Anubhav Sinha. Moved to Mumbai when he got through, but the movie got shelved.
- Gave up modelling to work as an assistant director with Karan Johar for his film My Name is Khan (2010).
- Also worked as a clapper boy in Ra.One (2011).

- In 2013, performed at a special event to raise funds for the flood-affected victims of Uttarakhand along with his Student Of The Year co-actors.
