As the son of the man who portrayed one of the silver screen's most memorable maniacs, Oz Perkins' first role found him following in father Anthony's footsteps as a young Norman Bates in Psycho II (1983). Soon growing into a talented actor in his own right, it wasn't long before the younger Perkins was establishing himself in such films as Six Degrees of Separation (1993) and Wolf (1994). Born Osgood Robert Perkins II to Anthony Perkins and actress/photographer Berry Berenson in New York City in 1974, Oz graduated from L.A.'s Harvard-Westlake School before earning a B.A. in English from New York University and subsequently beginning an acting career. After exuding his comic talents in such films as Legally Blonde and Not Another Teen Movie (both 2001), Perkins moved into edgier territory with a small role in the independent drama Secretary in 2002.
