The wife of both Chicago's Robert Lamm and later the Beach Boys' Dennis Wilson, actress Karen Lamm served as a backup singer on the Beach Boys' song "Baby Blue" and appeared in over 150 films, television miniseries, series, commercials, and made-for-TV movies. Born in Baton Rouge and later moving to Los Angeles, Lamm contributed to numerous Wilson biographies after his drowning death in 1983 and worked as a producer on such television shows as The Watcher and the miniseries The Menendez Brothers On June 29, 2001, Lamm died of heart failure at her home in Playa Del Rey, CA. She was 49.
