Raised in Wales with her six brothers, actress Kimberley Nixon showed an aptitude for performing at an early age, studying at the National Youth Theatre of Wales and the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama. She began her on-screen career in 2007, with a role on the British mini-series Cranford, and soon found a niche in film, appearing in many quirky movies, like 2008's Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging and 2009's Cherrybomb. She also tried her hand at period work, signing on to star alongside Sean Bean in the 2011 film Black Death.
