- Started taking dance lessons at age 3 and, while growing up, practiced piano and the oboe, and performed in school plays and at a summer community theater before focusing on the viola at Northwestern University.
- Won the Back Stage Garland Award for Best Performance in a Musical Production; the LA Weekly Theatre Award for Best Performance in a Musical; and the Stage Scene LA Award Outstanding Achievement by a lead Actress (Musical) for her portrayal of Linda Lovelace in Lovelace: A Rock Musical.
