- Started snowboarding at the age of 4.
- Began competing at the age of 6 as part of Team Mountain High.
- From ages 8 to 10, trained in Valais, Switzerland.
- At age 14, won the gold medal at the 2014 Winter X Games.
- In 2016 , was nominated for the ESPY Award for "Best Breakthrough Athlete."
- Fluent in French, Korean and English.
- The first snowboarder to serve as flag bearer for Team USA.
- At the 2016 U.S. Snowboarding Grand Prix, became the first woman to land back-to-back 1080 spins in a snowboarding competition.
