- Studied Integrated Defense, a tactical combatives program which was designed for military and law enforcement groups based on the Filipino martial art, Pekiti-Tirsia Kali, for 5 years.
- Has served as instructor to local police departments teaching officers knife and weapon retention skills.
- Is an accomplished stunt performer and coordinator, and earned his first feature film stunt coordinator credit on the 2018 horror/ thriller The Executioners.
