A handsome young actor with Metro and Goldwyn in the 1920s, Tom Gallery was the husband of comedian Zasu Pitts. Rarely seen in starring roles, Gallery instead appeared opposite some of the era's great leading ladies, including Viola Dana (three times) and Colleen Moore. Retiring at the advent of sound, Gallery's last film was A Dog of the Regiment (1927), starring Rin-Tin-Tin. With Pitts, whom he divorced in 1932, Gallery adopted the son of the ill-fated Metro star Barbara La Marr.
