Don Beddoe was a prolific actor who has worked in repertory theater, Broadway, and over 150 Hollywood movies. In the movies, he was frequently type-cast as a mustachioed sheriff, detective, and infrequently, a lead. In 1974, at the age of 71, he married actress Joyce Matthews. As of 1985, he was still acting.
