South Africa-born news correspondent Lara Logan distinguished herself via extraordinary coverage of global events. She thus received an appointment to the position of chief foreign correspondent for 60 Minutes in February 2006. Logan's many previous titles include that of senior producer for Reuters and news correspondent for GMTV in England.
