Lilyan Tashman was a model and Ziegfeld Girl by the late teens, Tashman began acting in films in the early '20s and appeared in such notable silents as Monta Bell's Pretty Ladies, Fred Niblo's Camille with Norma Talmadge, and William De Mille's Craig's Wife. Her talkies include Bulldog Drummond with Ronald Colman, the thrillers The Cat Creeps and Murder by the Clock, and the musicals No, No Nanette, Puttin' on the Ritz with Harry Richman, George Fitzmaurice's One Heavenly Night, Too Much Harmony with Bing Crosby, and Frankie and Johnny with Helen Morgan.
