In Hollywood from 1937, American screenwriter Edmond Kelso labored in the "B"-western salt mines. Kelso wrote for Tex Ritter at Grand National Studios and the "Three Mesquiteers" at Republic before settling at Monogram in 1940. Here he worked on such inexpensive but entertaining fare as King of the Zombie (1941), Revenge of the Zombies(1943) and Swing Parade of 1946 (1946).
