Bio

The bulk of British films in the 1930s were inexpensive programmers and quota quickies. Among the craftsmen who labored away in near-anonymity in this field was Leslie Howard Gordon. He functioned as writer, producer and director for several British time-fillers, only a handful of which have survived. One of Leslie Howard Gordon's few productions of note was 1934's Double Event, which featured an early appearance by Bernard Lee, later world-famous as "M" in the James Bond series.
