A master in the art of seduction, Constantin (Jerry Orbach) takes pity on Peter (Tyrone Power Jr.), a young stagehand who is a dunce when it comes to wooing the opposite sex. Peter is held spellbound by nightclub singer J.B. (Audrey Landers), but he doesn't stand a chance of winning her heart in his current state. Although Peter makes some progress, his developing skills as a Don Juan might not help much when it comes to defending J.B. from a sinister gangster.
