Synopsis

Teen skateboarders "Poker" (Richard Wilson), "Spasm" (Sean Kennedy) and "Blue Flame" (Ho Thi Lu) trade the rough streets of suburbia for a shot at competition glory in the half-pipes of Beachbowl. Learning that it takes more than just skill to make it to the top, the boys dodge obstacles that range from disapproving parents and law enforcement to petty criminals and personal demons, stopping at nothing in their quest to compete and meet with skateboarding legend Tony Hawk.
