Synopsis

This escapist fantasy finds Baron Munchausen (Milos Kopecky) meeting a spaceman who lands on the moon with Cyrano (Karel Hoger) and characters from the novels of Jules Verne. The Baron concludes the group should learn about things on Earth. They are transported back to an 18th century palace of a sultan. After helping a princess escape the clutches of the sultan, the spaceman and the princess fall in love. They are rescued by a Dutch ship only to be swallowed by a giant fish. The Baron rides a cannonball in an aerial reconnaissance mission and engages in a Neptunian underwater odyssey after he is captured by a giant bird. The haughty and imaginative Baron continues his telling of unbelievable tales of his heroic chivalry.
