Surviving residents of houses destroyed by Hurricane Sandy along the Jersey Shore find themselves in a different battle against forces as strong as nature's fury in the aftermath of the storm. Their struggle this time is against mortgagors, insurance companies, and governmental agencies that threaten to take whatever is left of their properties along with their hopes to rebuild and recover their old lives.
