Since the death of his wife, Mr. Witherby (John St. Ives) has had trouble keeping up with his rambunctious children. His young son, Justin (Cameron Sturn), is a precocious science whiz, and his daughter, Jessica (Mallory Farrow), is a scrappy tomboy. Anxious for a little maternal attention, Jessica prays for some help from on high. She's answered with the arrival of an angelic housemaid who also comes in handy when Mr. Witherby faces off against a nasty real estate developer.
