This documentary by Frederick Wiseman examines life in a New York inner city high school. Though the title suggests that this film is a sequel to his 1969 documentary "High School," it is in fact, not a sequel. The focus upon this film is upon the interactions between the students, faculty, staff, and parents. The message it sends is hopeful as it shows the students in Central Park East Secondary School in New York City actually learning. Included are scenes filmed within the classroom and parent teacher conferences. The film is almost four hours long.
