Writer and director Gowtam Tinnanuri remakes his 2019 film into a newer version of a family drama with a sports-oriented backdrop. The story follows Arjun Talwar (Shahid Kapoor), a somewhat down-on-his-luck thirty-six-year-old husband to Vidya (Mrunal Thakur) and father to idealistic Nani (Ronit Kamra). Arjun wants nothing but to buy a special sports jersey as a gift to his son. But this leads to old memories of giving up on his earlier career as an up-and-coming cricket player, actions that he currently regrets.
