Synopsis

A mild-mannered man falls in love with a similarly introverted woman, but neglects to tell her he's a suspect in a murder as the new couple set out to elude the police. His world is shattered one day when he is involved in the murder of one of his former encounters, the sweet-faced Ishibashi Yoshino who, after being jilted by playboy Masuo Keijo, berates and mocks the troubled loner.
