An interesting murderer on the run film, James Mason portrays a man who kills his wife--who, by the way, deserves it--and buries her in the garden. Pursued by the wife's suspicious brother, he is aided by a woman who turns out to be an author using him for material for a novel. Plot convolutions make this tragedy more entertaining than the plot would seem to warrant.
