In this musical, a mother takes her three daughters to Alaska to see their father who went up during the gold rush to seek his fortune. Unfortunately upon their arrival, they discover that he has been killed. To survive, the women must go to work. Not only do they find jobs, the three also find romance. This film was the first musical to be released in 3-D.
