This thriller begins when bearded Jack picks up a young desert hitchhiker. When the bodies of various hitchhikers begin surfacing, homosexual detective Ray Vates and his partner Ellis investigate. However, when Ray is seduced by Jack, the man confesses to the killings but then leaves Ray handcuffed to the bed.
