For years now, the attractive architect Lisa Werner has been devoting herself almost entirely to her father's construction firm and has long since given up any hopes of finding "the great love of her life". She's convinced that things like that only happen to other people. But then her work takes her to Sevilla and there she accidentally meets a fascinating flamenco dancer named Ramón Canales. He criticizes the hotel complex she's planning because he finds it soulless and offers her to introduce her to his city and its people. Soon they fall passionately in love with each other. But Ramon confesses that there is another woman, a woman he can't leave because she was blinded in an accident that he had caused.
