A woman is released from prison after serving time for murdering her husband in an alcoholic rage. The terms of her parole bar her from drinking or trying to contact her teenage son, but as her memories of the killing return and she is reunited with her one-time lover Matt, she begins to suspect she isn't the murderer after all and starts breaking the rules in her search for the truth.
