- Grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and moved to Los Angeles when he was 24.
- Was homeschooled from 4th grade to 7th grade, along with his older brother.
- Was previously a segment producer, director, writer, performer, editor for Fox Sports 2 from 2006 to 2011.
- Made his Sundance Film Festival debut in 2014 with his short film Funnel.
- Creates fine art and graffiti under the tag name Buddy Lembek, which has been featured in exhibitions at London's Institute of Contemporary Art, MASS MoCa, and Publico in association with Cincinnati's CAC.
