Clark, a pretty, vivacious American actress, was nominated for the "Best Supporting Actress" Oscar for her work in American Graffiti (1973). Formerly a fashion model, she debuted on screen in 1972 in John Huston's Fat City. Clark made her off-Broadway debut in 1981.
