A supporting actor in numerous Hollywood "B"-movies, Morgan Conway usually played tough-guy roles, working for or against the law. He is best known as the screen's first Dick Tracy, in Dick Tracy and Dick Tracy vs. Cueball (both 1946). He also appeared in several Broadway plays in the '30s. Conway debuted on screen in Looking for Trouble (1934).
