This actioner centers on two telephone repairmen who get into trouble when one of them begins suspecting that his wife's boss is a criminal. The trouble begins when he ropes his partner into helping him to prove it. Unfortunately they are caught eavesdropping by the boss's thugs who leave them in a raging building fire. Fortunately, the husband is able to trigger the fire alarm and both of them are saved. The crooked boss is then killed and the repairman's wife stands accused of the crime. To save her, the two begin investigating; they are lead to the dead crook's ex-girlfriend who admits all during the terrifying Long Beach earthquake.
