Synopsis
Defying her parents' wishes, Vanessa (Tempestt Bledsoe) sneaks out with her friends to see an R-rated horror movie, "Deathmaster 2000." She soon regrets her indiscretion--and her disregard for Cliff (Bill Cosby) and Clair's warnings that she does not handle fear particularly well. After a few sleepless, nightmare-plagued nights, Vanessa is a nervous wreck, forcing Clair (Phylicia Rashad) to take matters in hand with a bit of psychology and the added bonus of Cliff's precious college track medal.
