"Halloween Wars" returns to Food Network for a sixth October, with new host Jonathan Bennett ("Mean Girls") and returning judge Shinmin Li joined by new judge Don Mancini, the writer-director of classic horror film "Child's Play." The season begins with six teams -- each consisting of a pumpkin-carving expert, cake artist and sugar artist -- who compete in challenges that require them to create edible Halloween-themed displays. There are two challenges in each episode, with weekly eliminations. The finale sees the two remaining trios compete in one last head-to-head battle to determine the season's winner. The winning squad takes home the $50,000 grand prize. Guest judges joining Li and Mancini throughout the six-episode season include horror icon Elvira, actor Sid Haig and director Greg Plotkin.
