Brand new comedy about the lives of two funny, smart, sixty-something ladies. Pat is a widow and Cabbage is recently divorced, and now they find themselves single for the first time in decades. When Pat admits she has a crush on their friend Michael, Cabbage is delighted and hatches a plan to bring them together. An awkward encounter and the arrival of a mystery woman means that things do not turn out the way she hoped. Pat's daughter Helen decides to buy her sister Nicola a pet for company, but it is Helen's husband Jim who becomes most attached to it. Meanwhile, Helen thinks Cabbage is proving to be a bad influence on her mother.
