Food Network has found itself a niche in testing children's cooking abilities in the kitchen, having pint-sized cooks compete in junior versions of popular shows like "Chopped." This time around the competition heads outdoors as eight contestants, all between the ages of 10 and 13, show off their grilling skills in the first season of "Kids BBQ Championship." Each episode's challenges revolve around a theme, which include a Hawaiian luau, a state fair and a cowboy campfire. Lifestyle expert Camila Alves and NFL player-turned-private chef Eddie Jackson host the show, which features guest judges who determine the winner of each challenge. At the end of six episodes, a winner is named and receives the grand prize package of $20,000 and a feature in an upcoming issue of Food Network Magazine.
